Changes made to any settings don't get written to disk
when exiting settings menu like they used to.
Can force a write by starting to play a track and then
pausing.

This behaviour is intentional. It has been like that since
1.4. You just haven't noticed until now. Rockbox waits with
the saving of the settings until the disk spins up for
another reason.

Sorry about that.
I had changed the Show Files setting and thus had forced the
disk i/o when returning to directory browser screen.
Guess I should get off my duff and read the code! :)
