FS#1439 - Read access error
I have the Archos Jukebox Recorder 20, with Archos OS
v. 1.28, but I use Rockbox v. 2.0.
Yesterday I was using the Archos, scrolling through
songs, when it suddenly froze up on me, and none of
the buttons would work. So, I turned off the unit and
then turned it back on, but instead it freezes on the
Archos boot-up screen (before it reaches the Rockbox
boot-up screen). I tried changing the batteries to see if
this was the problem but it did not change things. If
you let it sit on this frozen boot-up screen for about 2
minutes, another screen will suddenly come up that
says “Read access error! Can’t read from hard drive”.
Can someone explain why this is happening and what I
can do to fix it?
