FS#1444 - battery capacity very low or charge display incorrect?

I have the Recorder 20, ROM version 1.28

Since I have Rockbox on my Archos I have a very high
battery drainage and it lasts only for 2-3 hours instead of
6-8 h before.

Otherwise Rockbox is superb and I don’t want to miss it.

This report is very old and concerns a Rockbox version from eons ago.

Lots happen in the Rockbox all the time, and if you still have
problems with this matter I suggest you file a new entry.

The same thing is happening to me. V. 1.4 worked fine, but
2.0 drains the batteries like crazy.

I have the same problem when i charge when rockbox
running, the charging algorythm could perhaps be better and
let the batteries be more charged.
When chargin from the archos bios the autonomy is biggest.

I have the same issue. I’ve turned on power off and changed
disk idle to 3 seconds (the lowest setting) and I still am
definately getting much less battery life. I have 2/23/04’s
daily build installed.

Me too!
I have a Jukebox Recorder 20 (JBR20101), with a flashed
Rockboxx 2.2.
My jukebox stops playing song as if there is no more battery
altough the battary precentage metter shows 20%-23%… this only happened to me before when I had around 9% of
battary (I used Rockboxx 2.0 not flashed).

In addition, I get the feeling (didn’t check it) that the battery
is finised real fast altough I charge it all night….
