FS#1462 - when archos.mod doesn't register...
This isn’t a bug in Rockbox, and I know you offer a
solution to it in the FAQ (#66), but that didn’t work for
me, and here’s one that works. Maybe add it to FAQ
#66?
- first copy the archos.mod to the jukebox
- if the jukebox doesn’t recognize it upon bootup,
- copy the archos.mod file and paste it to the same
directory (root of the jukebox)
- in Windows, that leaves you with a file called “copy of
archos.mod”. then delete the original archos.mod and
rename the copy to archos.mod.
- bootup the jukebox and see if it recognizes it. if it
doesn’t, repeat until it does. It’ll recognize it eventually.
Note that I tried the other solution (using Directory
Snooper) offered in FAQ#66, but it didn’t work.
