FS#1502 - Daily Builds since 20030701 not working

Device: Studio 20, ROM 5.03.

The last (tried) working firmware is Daly Builds
20030627. From 20030701 on the JB starts, but doesn’t
play, neither a single track nor a playlist, instead I get
the message: «Error Dating Play». Just once I managed
to get it to play, but afterwards had problems to turn it
off, and the next try was with the usual error message.
Downgrading to 20030627 makes it work without
problems again.

Additional question: Why do some Daily Builds turn the
tone controls up to +7 dB?

This should be fixed in latest CVS. You will still see the error
but the tracks should start playing afterwards. To fix the
error, please create a .rockbox folder (see
http://rockbox.haxx.se/docs/faq.html#63).
