FS#1545 - BUG : Flashed FW + USB + resume
I flashed my AJBREC 15’s ROM with your firmware (2003-
07-25).
I got crashes when starting my AJBR when the USB is
plugged in and when it resume the last open track.
The Rockbox logo shows and then the “LOADING…”
window.
Thus I have to turn it off.
You should test USB connexion before anything.
Bye Thanks

Its not only a bug in the flashed version. I have the
same problem on the recent CVS builds on my Recorder
10.
Yeah it's not a problem with the non-flashed version because
when you start the JBR when it is plugged that's the Archos
firmware that handle USB, it cheks USB before to
lunch "ajbrec.ajz"
Re: "Its not only a bug in the flashed version. I have the

I ment if you turn on the device and partway through
loading you, remember to, plugin the usb at which point
rockbox has began loading with usb attached. its
something to do with when rockbox 1st checks for a usb
connection which is before the rest of the os has loaded
fully.
HuwSy
It seems to be fixed for JBRec (i dont know for the others)
now
I'm still seeing this problem in my JBRec 20, flashed
with CVS build 20030806
If the system was plugged in and charging, and the USB cable
is plugged in, the system will display "Loading…" and hang
(cannot turn on/off without removing AC, drive never appears
on computer).
If the resume featur is off, or nothing to resume to, the USB
icon appears as normal, and the computer sees the drive.
No, in fact it's not fixed !! Sorry for mistaken
Is this still a problem, using the latest daily build?
I tried few times, it seems to be fixed
Works on JBR20V2, using daily 20040206
We don't close the reports until the next major release.
