FS#1847 - switch into USB mode at random

This would be an Archos FM Recorder, 20gb version (JBR FM
20GB). Firmware would be the FM Recorder firmware, daily build
for December 3rd (CVS=031203).
Hardware info:
ROM: 1.23
Mask: 0×0504 USB: positive
ATA: 0×200, master
PR: positive
Flash: M=BF D=D6
ROM CRC: 0x222F V1

So, whenever I have this player plugged in for some amount of time,
it switches to USB mode for about 2 seconds then resets the player
back to the main file listing. It only seems to happen when the player
is plugged into the power supply, and when it starts happening it
keeps happening every 10 seconds or so until i unplug the player.
I’ve also noticed recently that it only seems to happen when the
player is fully charged, so maybe it has something to do with the
battery recharge thing?
Anyway, here’s to hoping this is actually a rockbox bug, so that it’ll
be fixed sometime.

This is definitely a hardware issue.

Test if this happens when you run the Archos firmware. If so,
it is most likely a hardware problem.

well?

Doesn't seem to happen in the original archos firmware, i was able to play
through a good half hour of music without it screwing up. Although at one
point the entire player did freeze up when i was trying to switch tracks (still
frozen, actually; how am i gonna get this thing off?), i think there's a good
chance the two incidents are unrelated. Well, whatever.

my archos studio 10 does not go into usb mode at all.
running latest rockbox, worked fine with previous version and
archos firmware.
