FS#1909 - OFF still possible while keylock is on
My Archos/Config:
Jukebox Recorder 20
Rom OS: Archos v1.26
Rockbox v2.1 (2003-12-04)
Rockbox is “non-flashed”, just booted as “ajbrec.ajz”
How to get the bug:
Play a song, switch Keylock on (F1+down), Message Box
“Key Lock is ON” appears, wait ‘till the Box
disappears, hold
down the OFF-Key for about 1 second and the Jukebox is
switching OFF…
besides: If the Jukebox is charging it doesn’t behave
like that…
See also the Bug:
[ 855304 ] mute possible while keylock is on
(This doesn’t bother me, you have to “press” 2 Keys
simultanusly to get the Bug, but switching Off is
exactly not what I expect when Key Lock is on….)
aow
P.S.
TO ALL ROCKBOX DEVELOPERS: GREAT WORK!!!

This is a hardware limitation that can not be fixed in software.
The Archos-BIOS don't behave like that…
Wrong, the archos firmware behaves exactly the same: Hold ON to
activate the keylock. Then hold OFF. The unit shuts off.
