FS#1942 - menu crash

latest build for FM (jan18-2004)

After stopping playback by hitting Off
The bookmark screen comes up:

Create a Bookmark?
PLAY = Yes
Any Other = No

BTW I have all bookmark options set to OFF

Anyway, I’ll hit Left or Down, etc and the
bookmark screen is still displayed but now
overlayed with some entries of the main directory.
Within a few more up/down pushes, the cursor
triangle is stuck at the top of screen, the
drive spins up and immediately powers itself off,
shutting down.
sounds rather violent, cant be too good for
the drive. I’ve reverted to a December 21 build I
found on my computer which works fine; cant pinpoint
on which date problems started - past few weeks
perhaps.

The crashing seems to happen only with files from the main
directory. However still getting the bookmark blurb mixed
in with the menu page after exiting. JohnD
