FS#2021 - Alarm-Plugin

Requires lcd_puts_style in API (I submitted a corresponding Patch)

This is a Alarm Plugin to get woke up by your Jukebox
without the RTC-Mod
Only works with Recorder (i think).

Howto:
-Play a file
-Start Plugin
-Set Wake Time
-Goto Sleep

Includes 5-Minutes-Snooze-Function :-)

Update:

Now supports 3 Presets (one for each function key) stored on
HDD.

Sounds nice!

Does it use power saving functions such as shutting off the
backlight and powering off the disk?

No it doesn’t, but it doesn’t need to:
Backlight and Harddisk is switched off by rockbox timeouts.
Only thing that keeps on: Display, Processor and Sound-Chip.

In my first test it lasted 15 Hours in “waiting” mode and got
30% Battery left.

The easiest way is to just keep it plugged in.

How do you hear the alarm. Do you need to sleep in your
headphones? What about it playing a shrill mp3 kept in an
alarm folder that people could change if so desired.
Can it be editted so the sleep timer can be used on the same
night as the alarm?

You can use any mp3 as alarm sound.

You can either wear a headphone or keep your stereo on.

Due to this is a plugin it can not be used with the sleep timer.

Before I replace the ajbrec.ajz file could I ask if this patch
works with the recorder v1 or v2 and do all but the .txt files
need to go onto the recorder
Thanks

This patch should work with v1 and v2, but is only tested on
v1.
You need the ajbrec.ajz and the alarm.rock file (shoul be in .
/rockbox/rocks).
the .ucl file is a flash-rom version of the firmware.
