FS#2023 - *PANIC* disk: NULL

My ARCHOS Jukebox FM Recorder 20 was working great with
the original firmware and then Rockbox 2.1. I was
feeling bold and decided to try out the new features in
a CVS build (CVS-040218).

While playing a song (The Beatles, “Free as a Bird”) I
selected FM Radio from the F1 menu. My ARCHO froze and
I had to reset it. The Rockbox splash screen shows and
immediately displays the following:

*PANIC* disk: NULL

It will not respond to anything. It is no longer even
recognized by my computer as a USB drive.

It was finally recognized by my computer by pressing the
Jukebox F1 while plugging in the USB cable. [Big sigh of
relief!] Upon reboot of the Jukebox while disconneted, I no
longer received the "*PANIC* disk: NULL" message; rather I
received a "disk buffer full" message and I was not able to
browse my files. I was, however, able to select the menu
funtions.

Long story short and after several attempts, I was able to
delete the CVS-040218 build and reflash my Jukebox with
Rockbox 2.1. All is well now. I think I'll just wait for
the final build. Lesson learned.
