On my JBR V2, if a track is playing and I

1) push Menu,

2) select a new track,

and

3) push Play,

most (maybe two-thirds) of the time, the scroll bar
marker will stay at the same point, and the new track
will begin at that point.

This report is very old and concerns a Rockbox version from eons ago.

Lots happen in the Rockbox all the time, and if you still have
problems with this matter I suggest you file a new entry.

Step (3) above can also be pushing the right arrow button.

How are your Bookmarking settings?
Comment by Anonymous Submitter - Thursday, 25 March 2004, 15:19 GMT

I haven't used any bookmarks, and when I check the
settings it says "Bookmark Empty."

This happens with both version 2.1 and 2.2.

Weird. I can't make it happen on my jukebox.

Try letting the marker get a third or half of the way through
the song before you switch songs? (I'm checking back
because it just happened to me again, and it was about a
third of the way.)
