DetailsJust installed Rockbox 2.2 on my ancient Jukebox 6000
because I've gotten used to its features on my newer model. Installs fine, and it let me create a playlist, but if I try to play any file (including the playlist), I simply get a message that says "Error". When I rename the archos.mod file (disabling rockbox), the machine plays normally, so I don't think it's a disk (formatting/hardware) issue. When I first turn the machine on, it says "Ver 4.09", then "Rockbox 2.2". Install the latest daily build and let me know if that helped.
Just installed v.2.2 on my studio 20 and got same "error" message
when trying to play files.
Does the file begin to play even after you see the error
message? If so, does the .rockbox directory exist on your
jukebox?
