FS#2283 - Battery Capacity & Up button action?
Have an Archos Recorder 6GB with 1.17i ROM, first time
user of the Open source firmware version 2.2
Just so you are aware AA rechargable battery capacity
can now reach 2800mA, I use 2700mA batteries in my
casio camera and the settings internal only go up to
2400mA.
I’v also been having problems pressing the Up arrow on
the pad, it would seem that the debounce when the
button is releaced is sending me back a menu rather
than making the Up change i want in the menu.
It does not always do it and holding it is ok. But it
would seem the debounce is making it look like some
other button and cancelling my editing.
Working with PIC’s help’s notice what these things are ;-
) So it looks like a debounce to me on the release of
the button.
Otherwise an amazing bit of work Does anyone
know if a 60Gig drive will slip in as a replacement? I’m
thinking of changing mine and would like to know if the
OS‘s will cope ok, thanks.
Email: dukesatan@yahoo.co.uk if you can advise on
the drive

Just to let you know, it would seem the up button is not
causing the problems itself. It would seem that if i press the
blue plastic button F2 also operates at the same time, so
when i release the up button the F2 button cancels what i’m
doing. Maybe i just need to take it apart and sort this out,
anyone else had similar?
Please try the latest daily build and see if it is any better.
