Looks great, although the navigation is a bit confusig (at least
in the simulator, haven't tried it on hardware yet):

When you start the game, the current position is not visible. I
assume I am on the leftmost closed card, and if I press "right"
three times I see the cursor on the first open card. Is this
intentional or a bug?

I don't experience this bug on my recorder unit. I'll try to
look at the simulator as soon as I get home from vacation.
(the only time when the cursor actualy doesn't diplay on my
unit is when it is over an empty space. i should fix that too)

Concerning the navigation, it sure is confusing. I'll have
to make it more intuitive.

Right, that is the same as I get: No cursor on empty positions.
My remark about closed cards was wrong.

I think the navigation is actually ok once I've read the source
code for documentation… An optional help screen before
starting the game would be good.

Also, for poor solitaire players like myself I would enjoy being
able to choose how many columns are dealt initially. I find the
current mode with only four dealt columns much too difficult
for my skill level. :)

If you fancy any other ideas for your solitaire, feel free to take
a look at "Klondike Solitaire" on the Cyborg Systems web page
at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/cyborgsystems …where you
will also find a full blown card-game Engine to help you develop
new card games quickly :)

I'm half working on BlackJack at the moment, so if you fancy
chipping in there, let me know …cs_bluechip@webtribe.net
