FS#2385 - Bad functioning of buttons

I tried new 2.3 version and I have a problem. I play
files or playlists, and the buttons aren’t working well:
- get volume down
+ only turn on the backlight. If I push continuosly,
then it forward the song, but never jump to next file.
I’ve used the last daily build, and it has the same
problem.

Info about player:
# Archos jukebox 6000 player
# ROM firmware version: 4.54
# Rockbox version: 2.3, daily build 6-11-2004

Regards and keep up your excelent work.

I assume this worked for you earlier? Can you load version 2.2
and verify it doesn’t exhibit this problem?

2.2 version works perfect.

Please try the latest daily build and tell me if it works
better.

It works better, but now I’m having other problems. I must
hold stronger + button to get it working. Besides, it seems
the daily build is more “hard disk stressing” than 2.2.
Archos player begins to read info in the hard disk, but the
music and the hard disk stop, keeping the red led on.
I’m having some strange problems about random music stops or
turnoffs because of the aging of the player unit, but
rockbox 2.2 works well, meanwhile next versions gives more
errors. I don’t know if perhaps hard disk is defective or it
could some problem of power… If you have some idea about a
possible damage of the unit and its respective home
repairing, it’s welcomed
Regards and thanks for your help
P.S: I hope my English can be understood…

How does this work in the current daily builds?
