I have an archos jukebox recorder 20 gig v2. I had loaded
rockbox 2.1 a few months ago and it worked great. Then I
had headphone jack problems and sent it in for repairs.
Unfortunately I had voided my warranty and had to pay $65
to fix it. When I got it back it wasn't fixed and I had to send
it in again. Now I finally have it back and went to install
rockbox again because the archos firmware (1.40) is so slow
(it brings up every file in a folder on the screen before it will
play the first song). I have tried version 2.3 and it won't
boot past the logo screen. I also got a buffer dir full
message as well as a panic one on 2.1. Please help, I am
stuck and I can't stand waiting to play a song on archos
1.40.

Please don't use the bug tracker for support questions. Try
this:

1) Run Scandisk

2) Use the Windows Installer to install Rockbox

3) Post your questions in the mailing list, in the forum, or
in the IRC channel
