FS#2506 - autobookmark text viewer
Rockbox daily build Recorder 8MB 20050519
Somethings wrong with the autobookmark feature of the
text viewer. Doesn't happen. No setting file is
generated in .rockbox\viewers.
Viewer is:
19.05.2005 06:05 16.680 viewer.rock
Are there any versions to check for the plugings?
Had a look at the source. Can't see a possibilty of not
creating the settings file. viewer_save_settings();
gets called in viewer_exit(), and
settings_fd=rb→open(SETTINGS_FILE, O_RDWR | O_CREAT);
gets unconditionaly called in viewer_save_settings().
No idea..
I downloaded the current build of 22.05 and compared
viewer.rock with installed: identical.
The viewer.rock of 15.5, 16.5, 17.05, and 22.05 are all
the same. So I guess the autobookmark patch hasn't been
applied.
Seems, that the patch is either omited at all, or just
for the 8MB Recorder or is applied just for newly
supported devices..
Thank you.
