I’ve also got that problem. I bypassed it with waiting a few miniutes until the battery was loaded a little bit (during this time the iPod rebootet several times), then I unplugged the cable, booted rockbox and holding the menu button while I plugged the cable again. It’s a little bit complicaded but it works
. I had this Problem on my iPod Color.
If I understood you correctly, the iPod reboots all the time when the mains adapter is conneted?
The exact same happens when I use my car charger.
With this patch, booting might work:
http://www.rockbox.org/bugs/task/4815 Note: The only way to get to usb hdd mode then is pressing menu while plugging in.
So it simply reverses the old behaviour.
thx a lot
