The ‘new’ gpio ports e..h are added to the gpio debug screen.
On the second page of the battery debug screen, the status of connected things can be monitored.

the attached device status display is now only done for ipod video and nano
Have you any idea what GPIOE bit 0 is? It goes high when I connect AC power, or when I connect USB and the backlight is off.
