FS#4896 - Beep goes louder and louder when pressing several "prev/next track"
I did set my “Beep volume” to “Weak”.
When you press “next track” or “prev track”, it make a short beep to confirm your keypress.
When you try to skip several tracks and quickly press “next track” several times it beeps
for each keypress - and every beep is a step louder as the preceding!
If you skip a lot of tracks it really hurts in your ears at last… That’s annoying!
When you wait with your next keypress until it starts playing the next track,
the beep remains at its usual loudness and doesn’t grow louder.
I don’t know if it happens on all targets, but it happens on mine: an iRiver H340…

I can confirm that this happens on my 5G iPod with Ver. 060324-2233
These progressively louder beeps, are they playing over music, or independently?
They only occur when you’re fast in pressing next/prev key
and that means that you’re fast enough, that the music has
not started again when you press the next key.
If you wait until the music plays again (or if you’re too slow :)
the beep starts again on it’s normal level.
So I assume the progressively louder beeps only happen when
no music plays or when the playback is somehow in its
initialisation phase…
Are you able to reproduce it?
