FS#5244 - Rockbox says hold on remote control (H100) is on, while it's not

Rockbox says “hold” on remote control (H100) is on, while it’s not, and correspondently refuses to take input from input, ONLY WHEN powering on. When already on, the remmote control works normally.

This also happens with H300 non-lcd remote. I really want this bug to be fixed because I use the remote a lot.

Oh, btw it would also be very nice to have the original iRiver copied: holding play on the remote shuts down.

Which bootloader version are you using, and what type of remote?

bootloader v. 5
h300 non-lcd remote

Sorry if I was unclear, but I was asking the original bug reporter, Erik Slagter. The lack of non-lcd support in the bootloader is a known bug, but it seems the original report mentions the H100 remote.

Oh yeah, I was wrong *blush*. It IS indeed a H300 non-lcd remote. But I didn’t find similar bug reports. And indeed it’s bootloader v5.

BTW I am truly impressed with the quality of the h300 implementation of rockbox. Yes it crashes sometimes, but the functionality gained compared to the original firmware is amazing. I am also impressed with the speed you guys react to my bug report. Keep up the good work!
