FS#5471 - iPod Nano Died
Filename: rockbox-ipodnano-20060531
Upon first boot, the bootloader appeared, followed by a black and white usb logo, then the iPod nano abruptly shut down.
Since then, it does not react at all to being plugged in to a computer, doesn't start charging or get detected by a computer. It's completely not functioning at all.

Have you tried holding the menu button for a while (5 seconds minnimum). This should make it reset the ipod.
It's actually Menu+Select. For five seconds, yes.
Also try this while it's plugged in.
