FS#560 - recording function doesnt work

arjb rec20 after pressing the record button it says
*PANIC* recfile:-5 and locks up. i have a daily build
20021124

HW INFO:
ROM:1.28
mask:0×0302 USB:positive
ATA:0×200 PR:positive

Since recording is work-in-progress, it is important that you update this
bug report frequently.

hi,
ive been trying daily builds everyday and right now i have
20021126. it stilll locks up and says *PANIC* recfile:-5 when
i try to record. and i also found out that the info about free
space on rockbox is different than the one i see on my
computer. many thanks for your work. jam

hi
i put the last daily build(20021128) today and when i pushed
the record button it seemed like it started recording but this
time i wasnt able to use any of the buttons except f1,f2,f3,ff
and rw… it seems like it records but actually doesnt. and to
stop it i have to shut it down everytime. about the info of free
space on rockbox it says 12.5gb. but on my computer its
5.2gb and thats the correct one. other than these everything
seems perfect. thanks for your time and good work jam

hi
i keep trying daily builds everyday and last two versions
(11.28 and 11.29) i had many lock ups. when i try to select a
file or play a song my jukebox lucked up. plus i still couldnt
get to work recording function with any of the daily builds. my
date and time settings are correct. and i still dont have the
right info about free space on rockbox. anything else i can do
please let me know. many thanks jam
