FS#5942 - itunes DB Support

i’d wonder if it is possible to integrate iTunes.DB support for not rescanning the whole ipod and browsing all songs by directory (like TagCache). A lot of files are not tagged very well but tagged in iTunes.DB? Thanks for your great work anyway.

I’d like to see this feature too. Sometimes TagCache leaves mp3’s untagged even though iTunes DB sees them fine. If TagCache could get its info from the DB then it would be faster then scanning each file, and more accurate.
Also it would be nice if we could browse the hard drive for files while Tagcache view is on. (On main screen after Artist,Album, etc you could put a “browse files”.)

Ideally TagCache would import iTunesDB and not bother scanning the files under iPod_Control, but still scan all the other folders (that aren’t .hidden) on the drive like usual.
