FS#6149 - Discrepancies in TagCache term in the manual.

Simple really. In some places it's called TagCache (our current name for it.) In others it's called Tag Cache (in fact this is the title of section 4.2, at least in the H10 5gb manual). Because of this, searches for the term can have inconsistent results.

It\'s done, I withdraw the report.

Project Manager

In any case, I think Tag Cache is a really bad name for it.

This is true, maybe while we're here we could come up with something better to replace it with. I wouldn't object, my only real concern is that there be one searchable term. :)

There are even places (quick menu) where it's called "ID3 Database" (in english.lang anyway, I've personally tried to be consistent in dansk.lang)

Edit: My bad, just noticed that this task is for the Manual. Disregard the above.

In my opinion, "ID3 Database" is a better name than "Tag Cache" (or "TagCache"), although it is somewhat of a misnomer given that not all codecs use ID3 tags.

Maybe we should just call it the "Database."

I found three instances of the use of "tagcache" and changed them to "Tag Cache." I chose "Tag Cache" rather than a single word "TagCache" because that's how it appears in the Main Menu –> General Settings –> File View –> Tag Cache. If I missed any, please let me know.

I propose that this bug report be closed.
