FS#617 - Resume after USB Mode

It would be nice, if resume would work after
disconnecting from USB mode the same as after
power up.

I’ve added this already as fearure request
#611062. But since Linus admitted in
200212120931.gBC9VJYt014246@mailc.telia.com on the mailing list, that this is a bug,
I add it here as a bug report also.

Contrary to Björn, who wants to ask for resume
even if the resume option is set to “YES” (see 20021212093418.GI2505@linux3.contactor.se),
I don’t see any difference between resume
after USB and resume after power off, because
you can’t know if USB has been used since the
last power off anyway.

I'm a little bit confused about the Message-Id,
because I saved the wrong email and deleted the
rest. But in the mailing archive I could find
Linus' email again at
<http://rockbox.haxx.se/ma il/archive/rockbox-archive-2002-12/ 0363.shtml>

The sentence "It can be fixed, and is a bug,
nothing intentional." sounds like talking
about a bug and about not missing feature. :-)

But I don't care, as long as you got my
thoughts about asking for confirmation.
Maybe this influences the way it will be
implemented.

Read again. Linus did not say the lack of resume-after-usb is a bug. He
just said we haven't made an intentional decision to not add it. It's still
just a feature.
