FS#6288 - Adjusting Microphone Sensitivity for Recording
Would it be possible for Rockbox to allow you to adjust the level and sensitivity of the microphone when recording? I would like to record my band practicing for later playback, but the instruments are much too loud.

Support question.
For questions use
our support channels (IRC, mailing lists and
the forums). Apart from that, when
recording gets supported _and_ the
hardware supports it that feature will
get implemented as the goal is to
support as much features of Rockbox as
possible on all devices (as long as the
hardware is capable of doing it).

I don’t understand your request. You can adjust the gain of the input signal regardless of its type. Apart from that, recording isn’t working on h10 yet. Please clarify.
well when recording does begin working is what i mean…
on the regular firmware of the h10, gain is not adjustable
