FS#649 - recording error
Friday, 20021220
Today I tested again with the latest version, that is
20021220 and again after 145 min the recording stopped.
The recording sign (vu) still did give a sign, but the
recordered file was stopped. The time doesn’t count
further, it give’s the time 00.00.00.

Summary: recording error
Initial Comment:
I use the latest test version on my Jukebox Archos
Recorder 10 gb, version 20021217.
With this version, but also the version 20021216 I tried
to record as long as posible till the recorder goes stops.
With the earlier version and the present version the
recorder stops recording after 165mb, about 143.49
minutes with 35% battery capacity. The display shows
that the recorder in recording, but it doesn’t.
Perhaps there is an explenation for this effect?
Also I recover that when the battery display give a
blinking 0%, the player can still be used for a resonable
time.
with regards,
Tedoffwood

Hmmm. So the file is only 165Mbytes long regardless of
how long you
continue until you press stop? That’s a new one…
And the time
doesn’t continue counting either?

Similar problem here, which is I start recording and after
about 2 hrs. I stop the recording. The file that was recorded
although turns out to be only about 3 min. long and not the
two hours. The “recording” was still blinking and the time was
running while I was recording, so no sign of a mistake there.
Is this still happening for you?
This is fixed in CVS.
