FS#667 - Searching for Playlist Track never stops
Hello,
Im pretty new to the whole Rockbox project, so I may
be doing something wrong, but here’s what I’ve noticied.
On my Archos 10 gig studio, every once in a while while
I am playing a playlist, something odd happens.
Everything will be working fine, and then suddenly its
like my mp3 player locks up and cant find the next mp3
on my playlist. For example, it will load the song title
and amount of time in the song, but it wont play; the
hard drive just keeps making the loading buzz, and
nothing happens. Any ideas, or is this just something
that will be eventually fixed?
Also, the times between songs on playlist and off are
very slow loading. That should be fixxed to.

Which version are you currently running?
Is your battery charged? I had a similar experience when my
bettery power level was at 0%. The menus would function,
but the hard drive would make a seeking noise and keep
spinning and stopping. A couple hour charge for my Archos
Jukebox Studio 20 fixed it since it was now at 100%.

Lack of feedback, I’m switching state to invalid.
I”m seeing the same problem, fyi.
I’m having this exact problem. This states invalid, should I re-
enter it?
My battery is fully charged, i’ve tested it at different stages.
I’ve downloaded the newest version of rockbox from the web
in Jan 2003, and again in Feb 2003 to test.
Anything else I can provide that would help?
The bug was marked invalid because nobody answered our
questions.
Please describe, in extreme detail, exactly what you do and what
happens. We need to be able to repeat the bug, or at least
understand exactly what happens, to fix it.
Again, lack of user feedback. Putting the bug report over to
invalid.
