FS#6843 - Data abort at 00030570
New builds for ipod video crash my 60g ipod as soon as an mp3 file starts playing, and display shows Data abort at 00030570. I had gotten this crash when I had tried adding patch 5755 (before it was closed) and I have noticed that all builds I have tried since the patch was committed (SVN r12601) have had the same problem. When I revert to an earlier build, it runs ok. Hence, I highly suspect the patch. I hope this is helpful – I searched but did not see any related bug reports, apologies if I missed something.

I believe this problem occurs when you use a newer build with an old bootloader. Try updating to the most current version of the bootloader and this problem may disappear.
That worked! Thanks. I guess this can be closed!
