FS#7109 - Cannot resume from pause, Iriver H-120

After pausing a song, it is impossible to resume playback. If I try to start a different song, it will not play either. The only way to get the player to start playing is to restart it. This is all without using the remote.

No response from reporter. Request reopen if the issue remains.

What build are you using? What file types? How do you try to resume playback?

I was using the newest build on may 4th 2007 on an H-120, but the problem has been present for some time. I've only used my player to play mp3s ripped from CDs with itunes. Pause works fine with the regular i-river firmware.

A similar issue seems to have been documented here:

http://www.misticriver.net/showthread.php?t=36000&highlight=pause

Seams fine here with my h140 tested with a current SVN build.

It seems like the issue does not affect everyone for some reason, but even after updating to several different builds, the problem persists for me. I am using a patched version of firmware 1.66 if that makes any difference.

When you say patched, do you mean you're not using a plain SVN build? If so, try an unpatched one.

no I'm using the newest iriver firmware (1.66), downloaded with a link from this site, patched to run rockbox following the instructions on this site.

Hmm, if you can still reproduce this with a current build, please reply with your config.cfg attached, and an exact recipe. It remains unseen here.
