FS#7458 - Quirky way I have to connect the sansa to a computer.

When Rockbox is loaded Windows XP does not recognize the player.

To bypass:
turn off the player.
Plugin to computer forcing the player to turn on.
starts to boot,
screen freezes,
loads default sansa software,
unplug after database refresh,
plug back in,
shows default sansa “connected” screen.

then i can load files, update rockbox, etc.

Anyone else experience this? Plans on fixing this?

So I take it you haven’t, say, searched and discovered that there’s no USB mode on the Sansa in Rockbox yet?

That you *have* to boot the original firmware, as we tell everyone who asks?

Please do not report “Feature X isn’t implemented yet” as a bug.
