FS#746 - More than one font
I’m not sure that one font is suitable for
the Recorder. It would be great to be able to
font for the WPS, another for the browser,
a third for the menu. Is this doable? Note:
advocating one font per mode, not more than one
any given time.

Closing all feature requests.
I agree - And being able to set a different font for viewing of text files would be handy as well...
This would be a great feature.
I use a huge font so that the file browser is easily readable whilst driving, but unfortunatly it means i have to suffer a corrupt looking wps screen because the font is so big.
As this feature request was raised >3 years ago, is it hard to do with the current architecture? If not I might have a go at it myself.
Yes definitely i third this idea i think it would be great. The majority of fonts used in WPS’s are small which in most cases are not appropriate for navigating through folders and artists.
A separate font for the menu and a separate font for the WPS would be AWESOME!
I would also like to see a custom font available for the keyboard (it could be specified in the custom .kbd file). I would be happy with 3 fonts: WPS, menu/browser, and keyboard.
I agree too. I just submitted my own comment on the same subject without realizing one had already been made. the small font not only sucks to read it makes your eyes sore after very long. Not to mention they’re pretty lame. I used the font convertor to change some fonts from <http://www.1001freefonts.com> and came up with some really cool fonts. The kind of font that makes a regular Ipod look really bad,
.
I deffindently agree! I am trying to totally commit to Rockbox on my Ipod Video (30gb), but this major font problem really gets on my nerves. I am using Sven Schmidt’s Crackbox_AA (which looks awesome), but it requires the nimbus-12 font which looks horrioble in the menus. I Wish someone would fix this. I don’t know how to program, but it seems like this should not be to hard to do (with all the advance features Rockbox already has).
