FS#7640 - Slow EQ update

When I change EQ parameters the H120 applies them in about 7 secs. In older builds (1 month or more) variations in f, Q, Gain were applied immediately.

Reason for closing:  Fixed

When I change EQ parameters the H120 applies them *AFTER* about 7 secs. In older builds (1 month or more) variations in f, Q, Gain were applied immediately.
Also in Settings/Sound Settings/Enable EQ No|Yes when I change the setting I hear the sound change after about 7 secs.

The same problem in Crossfeed No|Yes
Bass and Treble change immediately.

EQ/crossfeed are software DSP processes. Bass/treble are hardware for most players. Rockbox buffers quite a lot of decoded audio in advance to avoid skipping when CPU usage is high, therefore there might be some time from DSP settings being changed until you hear a change. However, each time you enter a screen where you can adjust DSP settings, Rockbox should enter a low-latency mode. This mode will take some time to work properly, but changing DSP settings should be way more responsive after five seconds or so (if you use crossfade, it’ll be longer). If this doesn’t happen, there’s a bug around.

Okay, I’ve tried it out, and it seems the EQ menu does not work like it should. Crossfeed, however, is responsive once you wait five seconds or so after having entered the menu. Will see about fixing soonish.
