FS#7709 - Add USB detection to Ipod bootloader
This patch adds detection of USB for Ipods whilst in the bootloader, rebooting into disk mode if USB is present. Only tested on a 5g, the GPIO checks for usb power on other targets may well be incorrect.
Just tried it on mini 2g, works fine. It’s a bit surprising that the apple logo comes up twice (but I guess this is caused by the apple bootloader and nothing that could changed).
Combining this with FS#6721 might be a way to get around that.
what should I do with the file?
save as….what name?
which extension?
where do I save it?
thank you
The patch doesn’t apply to the current build.
I started syncing it, but some source files are too much different so I can make some mistakes, as I never hacked RB firmware.
Could you do it, please?
