FS#8047 - Wrong command in manual to skip to next/previous directory
According to the manual, the command to skip to next/prev directory is a+right/left. This does not work for me, the actual command that works is right, then long right.

Both are correct and a+right/left works fine for me.
Really? I have a gigabeat F40 with firmware 15370, default settings, and a+right/left does nothing.
yes, however it seems to be oddly timing dependent, which probably requires some investigation.
Try holding down A and very quickly press left/right afterwards.
Ok you are right, with some practice I am able to get it to work some of the time. It seems that you need to release A very quickly after tapping right/left. I think it would be a good idea to mention the other method (right/left followed by long right/left) in the manual.
