FS#8058 - Grayscale-Gen4 Will Not Boot Latest Build

I have upgraded a Gen4 model many times over the last year with no problems (copy .rockbox folder from zip file over-writing .rockbox folder on iPod). Latest build downloaded today stops with message ‘Rockbox loaded’ after ‘sum 2BE5D89’ line and will not go further. - thanks

Earlier October builds back to October 1 (oldest posted that I see) do not fix problem.

Running the latest IPODPATCHER (in my case for Linux 64-bit) fixed the problem; update to 10/31/2007 loads OK. I had installed Rockbox at the end of 2006 and to this point had not run any newer ipodpatcher to update the bootloader. The latest .rockbox files must not be compatible with the old bootloader I was using.
