FS#812 - 3 Bugs to report related in playing MP3Pro files
Using archos20030117.ajz on an archos recorder 10
giga ver 1.28
Playing MP3Pro, after 1:30 - 1:50 it stops playing for
almost 3 sec and then continue. The things re-happen
later in the song.
Maybe something buffer-related ?
Each mp3pro-coded file do it.
No problem with normal mp3 at any bitrate (not all tryed)
and at any lenght (tryed max with a 5:30 min song)
The ammount of seconds it takes to happen are always
the same for the same mp3pro file.
(try to explain better: It chenges between different
mp3pro files but is always the same for one specific
mp3pro file.)
I also tryed to set “antishock”-buffer to 3 sec … it’s the
same.
In addition another bug: using different languages
(Italian), when you press ON+PLAY on a folder nothing
appears except for a left arrow. Pressing it brings to the
rename menu. All (I suppose) other text is normally
displayed even if in originla (english).
One last “bug”: Playing mp3pro files show bad time
lenght (plenty of minutes). It is dued to the fact that
mp3pro files have no header with data on the lenght.
Hope to had been useful

For multiple bug reports, please do just that… file multiple reports. I have broken this message into 3 seperate posts
thought the Archos could not play MP3Pro files due to the
MAS?
