FS#838 - Brief pauses in playback of large files
When I playback files that are about 30minutes long, the
daily build versions pause every 7 minutes. The HD light
is on during the pause, and I can hear the HD chugging.
The pause only lasts for about 2 seconds, then goes on.
I’ve tried v.1.4 and Archos firmware, neither do it, but
the daily builds appear to do it consistantly. It only
occurs when I’m playing the large files.
Using JBRHD15, ROM firmware 1.28

Does it need to be exactly 30 minutes, or do you get it on 1-hour files too? Is
this happening to anyone else? I can’t repeat this bug, and I listen to a lot of
1hour tracks.
Well, I don’t have any hour long tracks to try. And now it is no
longer doing it… Don’t know what that was all about, but all is
well… Cameron
