FS#8618 - Sansa C240 Dock Line Level Audio disabled

On the Sansa C240 V1, to switch on the line level audio output on the dock connector pin 8 needs to go high. So jumping 3V+ from pin 22 will activate the line level audio. This works fine with the Sansa firmware but Rockbox produces no sound through the line level outputs on the C240, with pin 8 jumped or not jumped.

8305 Rockbox FS#8305 - c200: support docking stations with audio Very Low Low

What is the problem exactly?

Do you mean that rockbox does not output audio on the line-level outputs?
Which part is responsible for putting a voltage on pin 8 (the player or the dock)? Is pin 8 an input for the dock, or for the player?
Are you sure that it's pin 8 that needs to be bridged? Page shows that pin 8 is "Audio left (line out)" (this could be wrong of course)
