FS#8684 - Backlight takes unusually long time to turn back on after keypress

On my iRiver H10 20gb, I have the LCD set to turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity. I also have “First Buttonpress Enables Backlight” enabled in the LCD settings.

With builds in the past week or so, with a keypress that normally turns the backlight on instantly, it now takes 3-5 seconds for the backlight to come back on.

This happens on other targets too. According to http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=15760.0 it started in r16444.

Some simple MP3 vs. FLAC testing shows that it occurs more consistenty (or at least the delay is consistently longer) with MP3s, if that's of any significance. Sansa e200 + r16523.
