FS#8765 - Skipping halfway playback

Rockbox tends to skip halfway some files. This does not occur with the same file over and over again. Halfway playback (not a concurrent percentage btw) it just skips to the next song.

Which revision of Rockbox are you running?
What format are the files in?
Do you have dircache enabled?

Fileformat is MP3 currently.
I’ll check with dircache on, that may be a good one…

But my build is r16224, which is far from the newest build I see. I’ll check if the problem persists with the new version when I have the time to update it.

This sounds very much like the problem that was (mainly) fixed in r16549. Try updating before you do anything else.
