With keyclick turned on (I had "keyclick:
weak") during playback, pressing buttons repeatedly causes what seems like a crash:
no audio, or a high-pitched squeal, and what
seems to be fast battery drain.

To repeat:
(1) turn on keyclick
(2) start playback on the last song of an album
(3) press "|<<" repeatedly until crash.

It has also occurred for other keypress sequences, involving PAUSE and ">>|".
Pressing the power/menu button momentarily
seems to wake it up.

This has been a problem since before March 2008 (as mentioned in a comment on #8728).
