12908 RockboxBugsBattery/ChargingLow Sansa Fuzev2 when docking intermittently crashes with " ...2013-10-232 Task Description

To replicate:

1. The player is booted up and running Rockbox 3.13
2. One end of the docking cable is connected to my computer’s USB port
3. Plug the other end of the docking cable into the player.

Expected result: The player should go into USB mode and mount on my computer as a USB storage device.

Actual Result: I briefly see the USB mode screen (with the USB icon), and then the player crashes with a whitescreen that reads “Undefined instruction at 000000003C”.

This happens intermittently. I haven’t been able to figure out any particular circumstance that causes it to crash, while other times it works. The instruction number always seems to be the same, though, 3C. The simple workaround is to launch the unit in the original firmware before plugging in the docking cable.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a directory: /AUDIO;BOOKS
2. Place a file in it: /AUDIO;BOOKS/file.mp3
3. Start playing the file, and then create a bookmark
4. Do “List bookmarks” for the file
5. The bookmark menu lists something like this:

BOOKS/;file
0:02, 2, Shuffle

The problem seems to be that .bmark files use semicolons to separate the fields of information. If there’s a semicolon in the path, it thinks that it indicates the end of the path and the beginning of the filename.
