Hardware

Device I/O

• Input
  • buttons: (on top) Menu/Back, Options, up, left, OK, right, down, OK, My Shortcut, Play/Pause/Power, (on bottom) reset
  • microphone
• Output: display, headphone jack
• Input/output: USB port, SD Memory Slot

Internals

The following chips can be found on the PCB:

• STMP3760 (see SigmaTelSTMP3xxx or STMP37xxChips)
• a M12L16161A SDRAM of 2MB
• one or more H27UCG8V5MTR raw NAND flash
• the STFM1000 tuner chip
• a LCD controller (same as CreativeZEN ?)

Recovery Mode

There are two recovery modes:

• Creative recovery mode: powering off the unit and then powering on and holding the back button when the creative logo appears
• Sigmatel recovery mode: plug USB cable, hold the menu button and reset the unit, keep holding menu for a few seconds
