Purpose

The Rockbox Steering Board is not active any more.

The Rockbox Steering Board was a last resort in case discussions among developers get stuck and agreement can't be reached.

The RSB consisted of 5 members who served for 12 months until the next vote.

Who is eligible to vote/serve?

All committers get to vote for which 5 committers that should sit on the board.

What if a member drops out

If a board member retires during the period, the person next "in line" in the vote procedure will be invited to replace the retiree.
